Professional services
Grant access by engagement, withdraw contractor and client access centrally, and answer client security questionnaires.
Firms that work in client teams accumulate access by exception. A contractor is added for one engagement, a client is given a login to one system, a matter closes and nobody goes back to tidy up.
Every one of those exceptions is a credential that still works, and the firm usually finds out at the worst possible moment.
What Besecure does about it
Engagements, not individuals
Model teams and departments once and assign applications against them, so adding someone to an engagement grants the right access and removing them takes it away.
Access that does not outlive the work
Contractor and support access can be time-boxed rather than standing, and every change is recorded — so a closed matter does not leave a working login behind.
Including the tools clients insist on
Applications with no single sign-on are reached through the Besecure browser extension, so a client's preferred portal sits behind the same access rules as everything else.
Ready for the client questionnaire
Central records of who can reach each published application, exportable for the security questionnaires that now arrive with most engagements.
Questions this usually raises
Can we give a client access to one system only?
Yes. Applications are assigned by role, group or department, so an external party can be granted exactly one published application and nothing else.
What happens when a contractor finishes?
Remove them once and their access to every application published through Besecure goes with it, with the removal recorded.
Do external people need to be in our directory?
No. You can create users directly in Besecure alongside the people synced from Microsoft Entra ID or LDAP.
